A few weeks ago, while driving through the French countryside, my eyes locked on one particular tourism sign: Tulle. I gasped, "TULLE! Like the fabric?!” and reached immediately for my phone to search for confirmation. Oui, like the fabric! Its name is tulle because it’s from the French town of Tulle. Of course! I found myself joking: “It’s not really champagne unless it’s from the French region of Champagne.” Is it the same rule with tulle?
During our trip to Normandy in early 2023, I was so delighted by the highway signs! I wish it was like that in the US. It truly made the road trip more fun. Now I want to visit Tulle!
You and I really are cut from the same cloth (pun not intended.) Also, I saw these flats the other day and thought "these would be so pretty for a wedding"...
