Another Calder fan here! The Calder exhibit at the Musée Soulages was one of the museum's best, and certainly my favorite. I went three times!
Ah, it already sounds like it was delightful! I love when an exhibit requires multiple visits!
I regret not sneaking up to Musée Soulages when I lived in Toulouse. Adding it to my list for when I go back east a little bit. :)

Peggy’s Calder headboard is such a fascinating gift to me - she was known to have many suitors - the idea he made it for her bed was maybe a little wink and nudge!!!
I never considered this and I LOVE the idea of him making her a bedhead for this reason!!
